DBF Service- My Sister's House- 2017

The Atlanta Union Mission Sister’s House is a wonderful place to serve and bless families. We always enjoy providing food to families, speaking and demonstrating love to them. This was our sixth year supporting the shelter where women and children recover to return to the mainstream of life. The Douglas Brothers Foundation provides hot, delicious meals to the participants and has made positive impacts. It is great to hear the wonderful testimonies the participants share with us. Kudos to the Atlanta Union Mission leaders and staff that provides a recovery place for women and children, and create the platform for organizations like us to bless them.

NFL Titans Receiver Harry Douglas Speaks to Students

Titans Wide Receiver Harry Douglas appeared at William Boyd Elementary in the city of Atlanta to participate in Hero Day. Harry Douglas spoke to the kids about goals, vision, respect and learning. Harry also spoke to them about not joining gangs, not stealing and leadership. Boyd's fifth grade teacher Mrs. Louis has a strong desire for her students to learn and stated the kids needed belts and pencils. She didn't want them with sagging pants and without school supplies to complete their work. Harry's father Harry senior purchased belts and pencils for the students.

Tennessee Titans receiver Harry Douglas had great day with the children and he loves imparting in their lives because someone imparted in him. The children at Boyd Elementary were very discipline. He thanked Principal Dr. Marcus Jackson and staff for a great job.
